Discraft Malta Review
The Discraft Malta (Big Z) is a very overstable midrange disc that was designed by Paul McBeth and made with premium plastic. Discraft's Big Z plastic is insanely durable, much like traditional Z, with slightly better grip. It also has a gorgeous shimmery-sheen look to it and comes in a variety of fantastic color options.
When I say that the Big Z Malta is overstable, I mean it is o v e r s t a b l e. It has a positive turn rating of +1, which means that out of the box, it naturally wants to fight to the left instead of the right. This overstability is ideal for advanced players looking for dependability in all weather conditions but not so great (actually terrible) for beginner-level players.
