Introducing our Store Manager, Steven Rode

Steven Rode started playing in September of 2021. Where disc golf quickly became an addiction. A week after he started playing he was badly injured and spent the next 3 weeks in bed recovering from a brutal back injuring, but he was already hooked. He spent his next few weeks watching everything from Jomez to learning from Overthrow Disc Golf. After the injury it was a slow healing process but went on to excel at a fast rate winning the first few tournaments he played.

He moved up quickly to Ma2 where he spent the next few months and ended up losing in playoff of his next 2 tournaments. One to Trevor Roberts who made a 75ft jump putt for the win and one to none other than Anthony Bodanza over at Bodanza Disc Golf. Soon after he found some amazing news that he was going to become a father. His son Westley is now 10 months old and Steven has really enjoyed slowly bringing his son into the game. He'll watch the Pro tour with Westley after work on Sundays and loves to take him out for rounds when he can find time  and cooler weather. Steven attributes his fast rise in disc golf to his constant study of the game and his attention to detail. Steven took over as store manager in January of 2023.
